Designed for the modern work environment, this course will give you an excellent grounding in information technologies, business and marketing approaches, social media and event organisation.
You will also develop important employability skills, crucial for all relevant career options.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Applicants should be 16 years or older on the start date of the course.
This course is made up of 3 NPA awards:
- Digital Passport NPA
This award covers the basics of using data in the workplace, how to do presentations, and understanding social media.
- Enterprise and Employability NPA
This award will develop your employability skills through studying units such as customer care, working with others, enterprise skills and personal development.
- Business and Marketing NPA
This award will introduce you to the current practices within Business and Marketing, covering topics such as management of people and finance, marketing operations, promoting a business, and event organisation.
How will I study my course?
- Full Time
Your course will generally be a mix of local centre-based learning time, and flexible learning time. You need to commit to both, but you can choose when to complete flexible learning to fit around work, caring and personal commitments.
You will attend your local centre to learn together with your lecturers and fellow classmates in an online classroom. As well as having fellow students with you in your local centre, you may also connect with students in our other locations.
Our courses include a combination of video conferencing (like a Zoom call), interactive chat and sharing of presentation slides and other visuals. Online-classrooms provide you with real time interaction, contact and discussion with your lecturer and fellow students, so it’s a much richer experience than purely online learning.
