What is special about this course?
Developed in partnership with the Civil Engineering Contracting Association (CECA), this intensive short course aims to address the skills gap within the industry by developing a future pipeline of talent of Civil Engineering Operatives in Scotland.
You will hit the ground running with this highly practical, hands-on course which will include site visits to establish industry links and prepare you for future employment.
On successful completion of the programme you will gain an NPA qualification in construction operations.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however you should have an interest and desire to work in the civil engineering industry.
A level 4 qualification or previous work experience would be beneficial.

Equipment
All personal protective equipment will be provided, including boots and waterproof clothing.
How will I study my course?
- Full Time
Classroom based theory will be taught face to face. At least 2 days a week will be spent doing practical activities outdoors.
