This nationally recognised qualification includes the most recent Health & Safety Executive (HSE) changes made on 1 January 2017.

• suitable for candidates in low risk workplaces to become accredited Emergency First Aiders in the Workplace. 
• fully compliant with key syllabus changes and so includes the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
• ensures that candidates are trained to current Resuscitation Council (UK) First Aid Standards

First Aid at Work - three day

The First Aid at Work course provides comprehensive training and accreditation for people aged 16 + who are required to be First Aiders in the workplace.

• course syllabus and assessment principles are as specified by the First Aid Awarding Organisation Forum (FAAOF) and accredited by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
• fully compliant with The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the award ensures that candidates are trained to current Resuscitation Council (UK) First Aid Standards.
• suitable for people aged 16+ who are physically able to carry out the practical activities of the course, e.g. CPR training and the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).

First Aid Re-qualification - two day

This shorter course is suitable for anyone who wants to re-qualify to continue to act as a workplace First Aider.

• update skills previously learned on the First Aid at Work course
• learners will be assessed against all learning outcomes.

In order to access this shorter course, candidates must provide a copy of their current, valid First Aid at Work certificate.
