The First Aid at Work course provides comprehensive training and accreditation for people aged 16 + who are required to be First Aiders in the workplace.

The Argyll College training course syllabus and assessment principles are as specified by the First Aid Awarding Organisation Forum (FAAOF) and produced by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). The course is fully compliant with The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the award ensures that candidates are trained to current Resuscitation Council (UK) First Aid Standards.

This course is suitable for people aged 16+ who are physically able to carry out the practical activities of the course, e.g. CPR training and the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).
