A Pair of Highly Commended Awards for College Staff

The CDN College Awards 2019 took place on Thursday 21 November 2019 at Radisson Blu, Glasgow. The awards recognise the talent, skills and achievements of colleges, their staff and learners. They provide a valuable opportunity to celebrate the innovation taking place in colleges across the country. They showcase the impact the sector is having – every day – for our learners, communities, and the wider economy.

Argyll College was delighted to receive not one, but two ‘highly commended’ awards in the ‘Innovation’ and ‘Digital Learning’ categories.
Well done to Finlay MacDonald, former Oban High student and now our IT Apprentice, nominated along with hairdressing tutor Elaine Smith for a fantastic collaboration on their app "Game of Tones" for colouring skills training in the ‘Innovation’ category;  and to communications tutor Susannah Wilson nominated in ‘Digital Learning’ for her video feedback research.
