Oban
Oban Centre is the largest of the UHI Argyll learning centres and is home to over a third of our FE student population. The centre is located very near Lorn and Islands Hospital, just a short bus ride or walk from Oban town centre where there is a bustling high street of small shops, restaurants and cafes. We also have on-site parking, a bike shelter and two electric vehicle charging points.
The Learning Centre houses eight large teaching rooms, some with Video Conference / Presentation equipment, and all have Wi-Fi access. The other six rooms offer various teaching and video conferencing facilities.
There is a large library/ study space and also a well-proportioned student break area.
Our staff are happy to provide advice on our courses, student support, the application process and how to fund your studies. Give us a call or pop in and see us.
Community groups and private organisations can hire space within the centre and there is a discount available for registered charities.
